Semi - automatic calibration
The semi-automatic calibration facility permits derivation of the calibration entirely within Sediview. Calibration data are collated into a single file which is then processed, using initial values of the four main calibration components plus the four pairs of data that describe transducer performance.
Error trends and time-series graphs are displayed on screen and users can adjust the calibration components until the optimum calibration has been achieved. This facility enables complex, time-variable calibrations to be developed with minimum fuss. Calibration data files are printable and can be annotated with comments about individual data points.
